Chances are that if you haven't created your own twitter account, you have at least heard of this social media phenomenon. I myself resisted until I learned that the Texas Education Agency (TEA) was twittering (or is it tweeting?). Although I can't say that I'm Twitter's biggest fan I do see the potential usefulness of this form of "micro-blogging" or "broadcast texting" as I like to call it.
I would have written a useful article on getting started with Twitter for those who are interested in , well, getting started with Twitter; but a quick search on Google shows that there have been many useful article's written already, for example check out
